Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (advanced education preferred).
• Montana Paramedic Certification or application pending.
• Current National Registry.
• Valid Montana driver's license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening and PAT.

Responsibilities

• Assess calls and determine best action with paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using equipment and medications.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide care information.
• Lead the on-scene team and manage the unit as needed.
• Coordinate with allied health and safety personnel.
• Perform triage to optimize call efficiency.
• Deliver care per clinical protocols and safety requirements.
• Lift/move patients as required and relay information to receiving facility.
• Drive ambulance and assist with map-based routing.
