American Medical Response is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role in Bozeman, MT. Responsibilities include providing advanced medical care, leading on-scene operations, and coordinating with hospitals and dispatch.

Overnight shifts are required and a $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment. Qualified candidates must hold Montana Paramedic certification (or be pending), NREMT, valid MT driver’s license, BCLS/ACLS/PALS or PEPP/BTLS, and pass drug, background, and PAT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current Montana Paramedic Certification or application pending.
• Current NREMT certification.
• Valid MT driver’s license.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP/BTLS.
• Clean driving record per AMR safety policy.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test (PAT).

Responsabilités

• Assess each call to determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Parametric team on the scene and manage the unit as needed.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Develop and use triage skills for efficient calls.
• Provide patient care per clinical protocols and safety requirements.
• Lift and move patients as required.
• Coordinate with receiving facility for medical direction and critical information.
• Drive the ambulance and assist with map reading to minimize response time.
• Communicate with dispatcher for data and feedback.
