Job summary

University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking a Paramedic for Monitored Patient Transport. The role supports a Level 1 Trauma Center, collaborating with RNs, physicians and the healthcare team to deliver direct patient care.

The Paramedic will work three 12-hour shifts per week from 7pm to 7:30am, with some weekends/holidays. Requires Lic Paramedic, Driver’s License, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Paramedic and valid Driver’s License.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or GED (HS)

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care as part of a hospital-based team.
• Collaborate with RNs, MDs and others to deliver direct patient care.
• Organize and prioritize tasks within the scope of practice in a hospital setting.
