Job summary

Mobile Medical Response seeks an Entry Level Paramedic to provide high-quality pre-hospital care in the Wexford/Manistee/Manton MI area. You will respond to emergencies, assess patients, administer care per protocols, and communicate with receiving facilities.

Candidates must be licensed Paramedics in Michigan, hold AHA Healthcare Provider certification, and meet MMR requirements, including driving qualifications and ongoing training. Physical demands and long shifts are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in Michigan as a Paramedic.
• Valid Michigan driver license with clear driving record.
• Current Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
• Trauma certification (PHTLS or ITLS) within 6 months of employment.
• PEDIatrics certification (PEPP/PEARS/PALS) within 6 months of employment.
• ACLS provider certification within 6 months of employment.
• EMS Safety certification within 6 months of employment.
• FEMA NIMS IC-100.b, 200.b, 700 & 800.b upon hire.
• SCT and FTO certifications within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and provide pre-hospital care per protocols.
• Drive and operate emergency vehicles to destinations safely.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Communicate with medical controls and other emergency services as needed.
• Document care and observations for records and diagnostics.
