Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with undergraduate NRP certificate.
• Strong math skills for measurements and dosages.

Responsabilités

• Assesses illness/injury to determine priority procedures.
• Stabilizes heart rhythm for pulseless/nonbreathing patients.
• Monitors cardiac patients and initiates IV fluids as needed.
• Performs endotracheal intubation to secure airways.
• Administers medications and tracks patient vital signs.
• Transports patients and coordinates care with hospital staff.
• Requisitions and restocks supplies; maintains records.
• Drives ambulance to emergency scenes and communicates with medical teams.
• Cleans and maintains emergency vehicle; directs scene personnel.
