Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess illness or injury and prioritize medical procedures.
• Stabilize cardiac, pulseless, and non-breathing patients.
• Administer initial treatment at the emergency scene and record vital signs.
• Communicate with hospital/EMS staff using approved methods.
• Maintain credentials and stay updated on protocols and licensing changes.
• Document patient care using approved reporting methods.
• Maintain readiness and cleanliness of vehicle and station.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
• Meet EMS response time standards.
