Job summary

HH Health System is seeking an experienced paramedic to administer advanced life support in pre-hospital settings. Eligible candidates must hold a High school diploma or GED, an NRP certificate, and Alabama EMSP Paramedic license, with current CPR and EVOC credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and required undergraduate NRP certificate.
• Mathematical skills: ability to perform basic calculations and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Assesses illness or injury and prioritizes procedures.
• Restores and stabilizes heart rhythm on pulseless, nonbreathing patients.
• Monitors cardiac patients and initiates IV access as needed.
• Performs endotracheal intubation to secure airways.
• Administers medications and drugs as directed.
• Assists in transporting patients to treatment centers and communicates with hospital staff.
• Keeps records and reports patient conditions and treatment responses.
