Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize EMS equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
