Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on equipment to provide advanced care (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, IV).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
