Rural Metro Fire Department in Payson, AZ seeks a Part-Time Paramedic to join our emergency medical team. Immediate opportunities are available with the potential for full-time shifts as-needed, supporting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must hold a State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, and current BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications; a solid driving record is required, and a physical agility test pass is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.

Responsabilités

• Assess each call to determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on equipment to provide advanced care (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, IV).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.

We’re hiring Part-Time Paramedics that are passionate about deliveringcompassionate,high-quality service and advanced patient careto our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliantwithcompanypolicy
• PassPhysical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Shift

• 4896 - Minimum 36 hours per quarter
