Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a skilled Paramedic to deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care in the field. You will assess calls, determine the best action, and operate as a leader on scene while coordinating with other responders.

Use defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to stabilize patients. You will drive ambulances, communicate clearly with patients and families, and represent the agency in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License, Driver’s License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Valid driving record and ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing each call to determine the best course of action in accordance with protocols.
• Utilizing advanced medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicating effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide reassurance and information.
• Serving as a team leader and managing scene and unit operations as needed.
• Driving ambulances during emergency responses.
• Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participating in community programs to enhance community relations and the organization’s image.
