Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics to join our team and deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care with advanced protocols. You will lead on-scene operations and provide care using defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and suction equipment.

You will drive ambulances on 911 responses and collaborate with healthcare and public safety personnel to ensure timely, professional service. A valid paramedic license and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active State Paramedic License is required.
• Valid State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action using advanced Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment including defibrillator, ECG monitor, oxygen and suction to deliver care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care provided.
• Serve as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
