Qualifications

• Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced life support care to ill or injured patients.
• Transports and transfers patients and assesses illness or injury to prioritize medical procedures per protocols.
• Applies artificial respiration or administers oxygen, starts IV fluids, and performs other emergency medical interventions per state/local protocols.
