AMR is hiring full-time Paramedics to deliver high-quality patient care and lead on-scene operations. You will respond to 911 calls, provide advanced medical treatments, and drive ambulances as part of a coordinated EMS team.

This role emphasizes collaboration with health and public safety partners. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Paramedic certification (or eligibility), BLS/ACLS on hire, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Paramedic certification required or eligible. Kansas certification mentioned in posting.
  • BLS and ACLS required upon hire; PALS preferred.
  • Drive record must comply with company policy; pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, O2, suction, IV fluids for advanced care.
  • Communicate with patients/families to provide information and reassurance.
  • Lead on the scene and manage unit duties as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
