Job summary

Essentia Health in Sandstone, MN is expanding emergency medical services to provide world-class patient care across the Twin Port region. We are launching a Destination Superior EMS initiative and seek dedicated Paramedics and EMTs who want to shape the future of this growing service.

This position is part of the I-35 Regional EMS and Superior operations, with report locations including Moose Lake, Pine City, Hinckley, Superior, and Sandstone.

Qualifications

• Paramedic or RN with Paramedic authorization.
• BCLS and ACLS required at hire; PALS within 6 months.
• Valid MN/WI licensure for Wisconsin assignments; driving eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls &/or hospital codes.
• Provides medical support & care in pre-hospital and/or hospital environment.
• Assists in ongoing patient assessment to determine best course of treatment.
• Provides advanced medical care and basic life support using equipment and modalities.
• Schedule will consist of 12, 18, or 24-hour shifts.
