Job summary

Essentia Health is expanding its EMS services in Superior, WI, launching Destination Superior. We seek dedicated Paramedics and EMTs to deliver high-quality emergency care and help shape a new regional EMS program.

Candidates must hold EMT or higher licensure, complete NIMS 100/200/700, obtain BLS within a month, and maintain a valid driver's license with background clearance. Training and benefits are provided as part of joining our expanding team.

Qualifications

• State licensure as EMT or higher required.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700 training required.
• BLS certification within one month of hire.
• Current US/state driver's license required.
• State background check clearance to work with vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergent and non-emergent calls; assess and treat patients.
• Provide emergency care at scene and during transport to hospital.
• Obtain medical history and vital information; communicate with receiving facility.
