Job summary

Essentia Health in Superior, WI is launching Destination Superior EMS and recruiting Paramedics and EMTs. You will respond to emergencies and hospital codes, provide advanced medical care, and support pre-hospital and in-hospital patients with a high standard of care.

The role requires Wisconsin licensure as a Paramedic or RN authorized as Paramedic, BCLS/ACLS at hire, and PALS within 6 months. Generous sign-on bonuses apply and shift options vary.

Qualifications

• State licensure as Paramedic or RN authorized to operate as Paramedic.
• BCLS and ACLS required at time of hire; PALS within 6 months.
• Dual licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin per location policy.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls and hospital codes.
• Provides medical support and care for patients in pre-hospital and hospital environments.
• Assesses patient needs to determine best course of treatment.
• Delivers advanced medical care and basic life support using appropriate equipment.
