The 0.6 FTE position (~24 hours/week) offers starting pay between $24.56 and $30.75 per hour, with shift differentials and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Ohio Paramedic Certification, Kentucky Paramedic certification within 6 months of hire.
• NREMT certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 3 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma certification within 1 year of hire.
• Valid driver's license with less than 5 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transport duties per CCHMC Transport Team policy and Ohio EMS rules.
• Operate emergency vehicles within applicable laws and maintain logs.
• Provide patient care during transport and report to receiving facility.
• Promote safety and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Communicate effectively with health care team and families.
