Job summary

American Medical Response is hiring an experienced Paramedic in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide advanced patient care, operate life-saving medical equipment, and support EMS operations under protocols and policies.

The role requires a current Paramedic license, state driver’s license, and applicable certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP). A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available for eligible candidates and full-time employment is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Current State Paramedic License (required).
• Valid State Driver’s License (required).
• Current BCLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP/BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification (as applicable).
• Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Utilize medical equipment to provide advanced medical care (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction).
• Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support to minimize response time.
• Maintain all required certifications.
• Communicate with dispatcher for call data and feedback.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and stock for optimal response.
• Document patient care and billing activities completely.
