Job summary

American Medical Response in Gallup, NM is hiring Paramedics to deliver high-quality EMS care, including basic and advanced patient treatment, in a professional, cost-conscious manner. You will assess calls and determine the best action per protocol to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include operating medical equipment, driving the ambulance, maintaining certifications, coordinating with dispatch, and documenting care and billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• Current state Paramedic License and valid state Driver's License.
• CPR/ALS certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, monitor, oxygen and suction equipment.
• Drive ambulance and coordinate navigation to minimize response time.
• Maintain certifications and communicate with dispatch for call data.
• Document patient care and billing accurately.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and safety personnel.
