Job summary

Mercy Perry EMS is seeking a dedicated Paramedic (EMT-P) to provide high‑quality prehospital care in the Mercy system. This full-time role supports rapid assessment, stabilization and transport of patients in challenging environments.

Applicants must hold an EMT-P license, valid driving license, and complete ACLS at hire with PALS within six months, along with Hazmat awareness; strong fitness and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license required for the state of practice.
• Hazmat awareness level training.
• ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Valid driving license and ability to pass fitness for duty tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and advanced medical rescue.
• Access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients to appropriate destinations.
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as assigned.
