Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years EMS experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls with professionalism, urgency, and compassion.
• Assess, treat, stabilize, and transport patients in medical, trauma, or environmental emergencies.

What You’ll Do

As a Paramedic, you will play an essential role inproviding fast, high-quality emergency medical care through 911 response,inter-facility transport, public assistance services, and Emergency Departmentsupport across both pre hospital and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Respondpromptly to emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism,urgency, and compassion, delivering effective care to patients who are illor injured


• Assess,treat, stabilize, and transport patients experiencing medical, trauma, orenvironmental emergencies


• Deliverimmediate, life-saving treatment and patient care both on scene and duringtransport to the hospital.


• Safelyoperate emergency vehicles in high-pressure situations across diverseroad, weather, and traffic conditions.


• Supportpatient care within the Emergency Department and hospital facilities byproviding clinical assistance, technical assessments, and treatmentinterventions as needed


• Collaborateclosely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, law enforcement, firedepartments, Quick Response Units and other emergency responders to ensurecoordinated, high-quality patient care.


• Monitorpatient conditions continuously and make critical treatment decisions inreal time


• Utilizeadvanced emergency medical equipment including defibrillators, ECGmachines, ventilators, patient monitors, IV infusion pumps etc. to treat,resuscitate and stabilize patients


• Performadvanced invasive procedures within scope of practice when necessary,including Intubation, IV insertion, Medication administration,Cardioversion, Cricothyrotomy, Thoracotomy etc.


• Calculateand administer medication dosages and infusion rates based on rapidlychanging patient conditions


• Collectand interpret diagnostic data to support critical clinical decision-makingand deliver effective patient-centered care that promotes recovery andoverall health


• Collaboratewith multidisciplinary pre hospital teams to support coordinated,high-quality patient care and effective care management

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Education

• Minimum2 years of EMS experience preferred


• Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent required


• Successfulcompletion of a Paramedic course or equivalent required


• Associateof Applied Science degree or equivalent preferred

Licensures & Certifications

• MontanaParamedic license / Registered Nurse with Certificate of Equivalency orPhysician Assistant license required


• Maintainactive license by completing annual refresher training and ongoingcontinuing education requirements


• NationalRegistry (NREMT) & PHTLS certifications preferred


• BLS,ACLS, and PALS required


• NRPand EVOC required within one year or at the earliest available offering


• CriticalCare Transport endorsement required within 18 months


• ValidMontana driver's license with an excellent driving record required
