The Staff Pad is assisting a pediatric healthcare organization in Helena, MT, seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide compassionate emergency care, support ED operations, and ensure safe patient transport.

EMTs will deliver care under clinical supervision, participate in patient transfers, and help maintain readiness for emergency response while collaborating with nurses, physicians, and a broader healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT-approved Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course completed.
• At least 1 year of EMS or related practical experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification preferred.
• Current unrestricted Montana driver''s license and clean driving record.
• EVOC certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide basic care to patients in medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and transport patients to appropriate facilities.
• Provide patient care within EMT scope under clinical supervision.
• Support patient care and workflow in the Emergency Department and other nursing departments.
• Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, insert IVs, and collect specimens as trained.
• Assist with patient transfers, room preparation, cleaning, rounding, and direct patient observation.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information and medical documentation.
• Maintain ambulances, equipment, and supplies in safe and operational condition.
• Follow hospital, department, state, and federal policies and procedures.
• Precept, mentor, and supervise students and new staff as assigned.

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respectedhealthcare organization in Helena, MT and we are seeking an Emergency MedicalTechnician (EMT) to provide compassionate emergency care, support EmergencyDepartment operations, and ensure safe and efficient patient transport.

The EMT provides emergency medical care and basicpatient management under the direction of medical control, Paramedics,Registered Nurses, and Emergency Department Physicians. This role supports bothEMS operations and hospital-based patient care while helping maintain readinessfor emergency response.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Education, Experience and Certifications

• Highschool diploma, HiSET, or GED equivalent
• Successfulcompletion of a DOT-approved Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course
• Atleast 1 year of EMS or related practical experience preferred
• CurrentBLS certification required
• NationalRegistry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification preferred
• Currentunrestricted Montana driver's license and excellent driving recordrequired
• EVOCcertification within 1 year of employment
