Job summary

Gibsongeneral is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to join our EMS team, providing advanced patient care on emergency and non-emergency calls. You will work with an EMT partner, respond quickly, stabilize patients, and transport safely to facilities.

You’ll perform in-field procedures, document encounters, communicate with dispatch and hospitals, and uphold safety, professionalism, and teamwork. A high school diploma and current paramedic licensure are required; ongoing training and career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current Paramedic certification/licensure in the applicable state is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and provide advanced patient care in accordance with protocols.
• Lead and support your EMT partner in delivering safe, efficient, and effective care.
• Assess patients and utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures in the field.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate transport decisions.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation for all patient encounters.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team members.

As a Paramedic, you are a critical part of the emergency response team—providing advanced, high-quality care to patients during some of their most urgent moments. You’ll respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, delivering compassionate, skilled medical care in the field while helping stabilize and transport patients safely.
