Corehealthnet is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join their team in Chester, VA. This full-time role requires responding to emergencies and providing first aid according to safety regulations. Candidates should have state certification and prior emergency medical experience.

We are looking for an experienced Paramedic to join our team inthe Chester, VA area. In addition to a rewarding work environment, we offer our professionals competitive benefits and salary. This is a full-time position with overtime and an anticipated work schedule of Monday through Friday 6:00am to 6:00pm with occasional Saturday work. The job is anticipated to begin in October 2025.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and conciselyConducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Flexible schedule: Days, Nights, Weekend availability required
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
