Job summary

CORE, a nationwide occupational medicine provider, is seeking a Paramedic for the Ridgeville, SC area. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role emphasizes emergency response, on-site medical support, assessment of injuries, and collaboration with medical professionals and site personnel to ensure safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) certification and/or NREMT with reciprocity.
• Previous EMT/Paramedic or 911 response experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with client and employee relationships.

Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administer basic first aid and medical support per policy and regulations.
• Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
• Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities for next steps.
• Coordinate with client and site personnel about incidents and hazards.
• Support Site Safety Managers to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Maintain quality clinical standards at all times.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Flexible schedule: Days, Nights, Weekend availability required
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
