Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sloans Lake ER seeks a Paramedic to join the Emergency Department team. You will provide safe and effective care under ED physician supervision, perform protocol-based lab testing, and contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates hold Paramedic certification, BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV certification, and have 2+ years of EMS or hospital experience; NREMT-P preferred; ENPC/TNCC preferred. Shift options include 4–10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic per state requirements.
• IV Certification is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• NREMT – P preferred.
• ENPC and TNCC are preferred.
• Minimum of at least 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively.
• Work under the supervision of ED physicians following orders, policies and procedures.
• Perform lab testing as assigned and document results.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Paramedic with us:

• You will implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively
• You will work responsibly under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency Department (ED) physicians performing care for patient(s) in accordance with physician’s orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies
• You will Perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• Shift : 4 - 10 hours shifts
