Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Paramedic-ED to join our Emergency Department team in the Denver area. You will provide emergency care, performing procedures and patient care under ED physician orders and hospital policies.

You will also perform lab tests as assigned, document results, and communicate critical values. Required certifications include state paramedic licensure, IV, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with NREMT-P preferred and ENPC/TNCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Current paramedic certification/licensure per state requirements.
• IV Certification is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications held.
• NREMT-P preferred; ENPC and TNCC preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a field paramedic or hospital-based EMS.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical procedures and care to ED patients safely and effectively.
• Work under direct supervision of ED physicians per orders and standards.
• Perform lab testing as assigned, document results and communicate critical findings.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Paramedic with us:

• You will implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively
• You will work responsibly under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency Department (ED) physicians performing care for patient(s) in accordance with physician’s orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies
• You will Perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic per state requirements.
• IV Certification is required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• NREMT - P preferred
• ENPC and TNCC are preferred
• Minimum of at least 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital
