Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Paramedic license (Indiana) with ACLS, BLS, PALS required or obtained within probationary period.
• EVOC or equivalent required within probationary period.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 required within probationary period.
• Minimum 1 year ALS Paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care, transport, and treatment of ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency settings.
• Relay and receive information about patient condition.
• Comply with regulatory, department, and hospital policies; operate within Indiana Paramedic scope.
• Care for neonatal to elderly patients with appropriate knowledge and skills.
• May drive ambulance to referral hospitals or transport patients.
