Job summary

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills in oral and written form.

• Ability to lead training and coaching in a busy EMS environment.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to the Clinical Education Department to improve training and QA/QI programs.
• Communicate goals and standards of excellence through daily performance and demeanor.
• Provide exemplary patient care and customer service.
• Conduct field training, education, evaluation and remediation of new and continuing employees.
• Provide classroom instruction in pre-hospital care related subjects.
• Act as an educational resource for field employees and management.
• Facilitate the smooth transition for new-hire employees and ongoing staff.
• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and administer disciplinary actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
