Job summary

Falck Rocky Mountain is seeking a Field Training Officer (Paramedic FTO) to support pre-hospital care staff with training, evaluation, and policy guidance in Aurora, Colorado. You will lead classroom instruction, perform employee evaluations, and mentor staff to meet high standards of patient care and operational excellence.

With 911 system experience, current county certifications, and solid knowledge of local geography, you will drive QA/QI improvements, ensure adherence to policies, and act

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to improve training and QA/QI programs.
• Communicate company goals and standards of excellence.
• Provide exemplary patient care and customer service.
• Uphold orientation program goals and objectives.
• Identify and remediate underperforming staff.
• Conduct field training, education, evaluation and remediation.
• Provide classroom instruction in pre-hospital care subjects.
• Define basic skills and functions for transitional employees.
• Act as an educational resource for field employees and management.
• Facilitate smooth transition for new-hire and continuing employees.
• Identify risk components and take appropriate action.
• Provide detailed paperwork on activities.
• Assess calls to determine best course of action and protocol.
• Lead as needed in scene management and ambulance operations.
• Maintain current certifications.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
