Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races is seeking an EMT-Paramedic to join the Security/EMS team. The role requires WV EMT-P certification, CPR, ACLS, PALS/PEPP at an advanced provider level, ITLS, EVOC, and MCI readiness. You will conduct patient care, document thoroughly, and provide reports to hospital and EMS units.

Flexible to work all shifts including nights and holidays. The successful candidate must be 21+, have good communication, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and comprehend documents and instructions.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient care equipment inspections and ensures proper stocking at the beginning of each shift.
• Performs assessments and treatments for trauma and medical patients per WV protocols.
• Provides verbal reports to EMS units and receiving facilities; documents care and exposures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to safety and company standards.
• Performs duties in a professional manner and assists in Mass Casualty Incidents as needed.
