Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking an EMT to provide frontline patient care in accordance with state guidelines. You will uphold professional standards, supervise trainees, and operate EMS vehicles while maintaining equipment and documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, and cross-agency coordination in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 1+ year EMT experience, a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an EMT.
• Prior EMS experience recommended.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Understanding of low voltage power & synergy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimum patient care per the EMS Act of 1985 (Act 45) and regional guidelines/protocols.
• Maintain knowledge and skills to deliver optimum patient care as an EMT role model.
• Supervise EMT trainees and other observers.
• Safely operate EMS vehicles per NM motor vehicle code.
• Stock and maintain vehicles and contents; maintain documentation.
• Work in hazardous environments to ensure safety and stabilization of the patient.
• Collaborate with local ALS, fire and law enforcement agencies for coordinated care.
• Document all patient care and service reports timely and legibly.
• Maintain crew vehicles, radios, equipment, supplies and quarters.
• Act professionally and manage conflict with sound judgment.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance.
