Job summary

Mercy EMS seeks a Paramedic (EMT-P) to deliver direct patient care under medical direction. You will assess, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients per Mercy protocols, including challenging environments.

Requirements include state Paramedic license, Hazmat awareness, ACLS at hire, and PALS within 6 months. Strong physical stamina and teamwork are essential to join our emergency response team.

Qualifications

• Must have Paramedic (EMT-P) license for state of practice.
• Hazmat awareness level training required.
• ACLS at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Must meet physical demands and mobility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment and evaluation.
• Perform basic and advanced medical rescue to access, stabilize and evacuate patients.
• Transport patients to appropriate destination per Mercy System protocols.
• Maintain equipment and perform clerical duties as assigned.
