Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking an EMT-P (Paramedic) to provide direct patient care in the Trauma & Emergency Center under RN supervision. The role requires completion of an accredited paramedic program and Michigan EMT-P licensure, with ACLS; PALS preferred within 1 year of hire.

3 years pre-hospital Paramedic experience is preferred, and basic computer skills are expected. The position is part-time with 24 scheduled hours per week, offering opportunities for growth in a community-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited paramedic program required.
• Three years’ experience as a Paramedic in a pre-hospital setting preferred.
• Currently licensed as a EMT–P in Michigan. BCLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide direct patient care in Trauma & Emergency Center.
• Care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients per guidelines.
• Assess patients and respond to emergencies following hospital policy.
