Reporting to the Center Manager and Center Physician, you will support operations while complying with plasma collection regulations and EHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements.
• FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, education, self-exclusion, medical history, physical examination, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and manage medical emergencies; coordinate with Center Physician for standing orders and transport when needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and refer to EHS guidance for investigations.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and support local investigations per EHS or Medical Affairs guidance.
