The Role You’ll Contribute

The Emergency Medical Tech II serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team within the Emergency Department (ED), providing holistic, caring patient care that supports the mission and vision of Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. This role involves providing direct, physical, and technically skilled, age-appropriate care to patients under the supervision of the ED Registered Nurse (RN), along with other related duties.

The Value You’ll Bring to the Team

• Accurately obtain and record vital signs (TPR, BP, Pain rating, weight, height), intake and output, and finger stick blood glucose.
• Demonstrate efficiency in patient safety, including proper lighting, turning, positioning, and maintaining skin integrity.
