A well-known tech company is hiring for an Onsite Medical Representative at its Auburndale, FL location.

Description

The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) will serve as the site’s designated first aid provider in the warehouse, coordinating and implementing the Safety Program. Responsibilities include providing first aid care, analyzing safety tasks, participating in Workers’ Compensation processes, and recommending risk mitigation measures. The OMR will also assist in safety meetings, new hire orientations, incident investigations, and case management reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, and referrals to medical providers.
• Maintain care records and first-aid supplies.
• Recommend accommodations for employees with medical restrictions.
• Report and analyze onsite incidents, suggesting safety improvements.
• Engage with staff on safety practices and assist in safety meetings.
• Understand department tasks to improve safety procedures.
• Manage Workers’ Compensation cases.
• Update health and safety communication boards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to communicate safety needs effectively.
• Remain calm in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid State EMT-Basic and/or NREMT certification.
• Minimum 1 year emergency pre-hospital experience.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends.
• Maintain medical credentials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Certified in First-Aid, CPR, AED.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly pay: $27.00 - $30.00. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, and PTO. This is a full onsite role in Auburndale, FL, with an application deadline of May 23, 2025.
