St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join the Emergency Department on a part-time night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) with every 3rd weekend. The role supports trauma and emergency care under RN/physician supervision, performing triage, procedures, and ongoing patient assessments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• <2 years of experience specified in the role.
• Licenses & Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Documents initial and updated assessments; triage patients and assign rooms.
• Perform invasive procedures like IV placement and catheterization as directed by RN/physician.
• Maintain certifications and participate in emergency response training; assist with disasters and community first responders.
