Job summary

North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care under ED physicians and established protocols.

You will perform lab testing, document results, and communicate critical findings while collaborating with ED staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Required state paramedic certification plus BLS/ACLS/PALS and about 2 years EMS or hospital experience.

Qualifications

  • Current paramedic certification as per state requirements.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of field paramedic experience or hospital clinical experience (preferred).

Responsibilities
  • You will implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively
  • You will work responsibly under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency Department (ED) physicians performing care for patients in accordance with physician’s orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies
  • You will perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical findings
Qualifications
  • Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic per state requirements.
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital (preferred)
