Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-P with WV OEMS certification.
• Background checks: OIG, Criminal History, Driving History, etc.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Must pass screenings and be drug-free.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation sessions and EMS operations training.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe transport per WV EMS rules.
• Operate ambulances and EMS equipment according to protocols.
• Respond to emergency calls and assist other personnel as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of stations and vehicles.
• Perform event stand-by operations at large gatherings and sports events.
