Job summary

The role requires a commitment to on-call readiness, strict safety standards, and teamwork with medical facility staff, law enforcement, and fire/rescue personnel.

Qualifications

• General Knowledge of EMS operations, operation of ambulances and proper use of EMS equipment.
• Ability to learn through training, using a wide variety of EMS methods.
• Ability to readily acquire knowledge of road systems and layout of assigned communities.
• Open airway management, ventilation, CPR and defibrillator device proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations sessions; maintain EMS certification.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Perform equipment checks and ensure ambulance readiness; respond to emergency calls.
