Job summary
Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. is hiring a Paramedic to provide safe and compassionate EMS transport and patient care across WV and neighboring areas. You will respond to emergencies, perform on-scene patient care, and operate ambulances and equipment in line with state protocols.
The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to professional standards, and ongoing education through our training programs and academy resources.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- EMT-Paramedic certification and WV OEMS license active or in good standing.
- Must meet all state EMS certification requirements and maintain current credentials.
Responsibilities
- Attend orientation and EMS operations training sessions.
- Provide out-of-hospital patient care and safe ambulance transport.
- Operate EMS equipment and ambulances following protocols.
- Respond to emergency calls and assist other responders as needed.
- Participate in event stand-by operations and community coverage.
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
