Job summary

AMR is hiring immediately for a full-time Paramedic. The role involves responding to 911 calls, leading on-scene paramedic operations, driving the ambulance, and delivering advanced patient care using defibrillators, monitors, and IV therapy.

Candidates must hold a state paramedic license, a valid driver’s license, and relevant certifications. We seek dedicated professionals with healthcare experience who can communicate clearly with patients and teammates while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, plus NREMT-Paramedic.
• Clean driving record as per company policy.
• Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess calls and decide best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with health and safety personnel and teammates.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License

• Driving record in compliance with company policy

• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
