AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position in Troy, TN. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE as we deliver urgent emergency medical care and patient relocation services.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, applying paramedic protocols, using defibrillators and monitoring equipment, leading on scene, driving the ambulance, and collaborating with medical and public safety teams. State paramedic license and BLS/ACLS required.

Formación

• Paramedic license and state certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain ongoing care.
• Serve as team leader on scene and manage the unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
