AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time Paramedic position in Kentucky. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE. Responsibilities include assessing calls, delivering advanced medical care, leading the team, and driving the ambulance on 911 responses.

Qualified candidates will have a State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic). AMR emphasizes compassionate patient care and collaboration with public safety teams.

Mansioni

• Assess each call situation and determine the best course of action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care being provided and reassure them.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and assume scene and unit management responsibilities as needed.
• Operate ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
