AMR in Bruceton, TN is seeking a full-time Paramedic to deliver high-quality patient care on emergency calls. You will assess scenes, apply advanced protocols, operate defibrillators and monitor equipment, and lead on scene and unit management.

Requirements include a State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. You will drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work with other health and safety teams.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test and healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
