Job summary

AMR is immediately hiring Paramedics for full-time opportunities in the Dover, TN area. Hourly rates start at $21.50 and may increase based on experience (DOE). You will perform advanced medical care, operate equipment, and lead scene management on 911 responses.

Join AMR’s team to serve patients with compassion while collaborating with public safety partners and healthcare colleagues. A valid Paramedic license and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass Physical Agility Test; driving record must meet policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
