Zusammenfassung

Allegheny Health Network seeks EMS professionals to provide emergency medical care in the prehospital environment, communicating with all departments involved in emergency medical care. You will drive a responding vehicle and determine the nature of illness or injury, delivering both basic and advanced life support during treatment and transport.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, equipment maintenance, and medication accountability on every EMS unit.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or training.
• 5 years’ relevant experience for the Prehospital Response Unit.
• Medical Command eligibility required.
• PA Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege to practice in PA at the Paramedic level or licensed PHRN.
• ACLS, PALS, ITLS/PHTLS and CPR certifications within defined hire windows.

General Overview

Provides emergency medical care to the sick and injured patients in the Prehospital environment; effectively communicates with all persons and departments involved in the administration of Emergency Medical Care.

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• For Prehospital Response Unit 5 years’ relevant experience and current preceptor status
• Medical Command eligible
• PA Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege to Practice in Pennsylvania at the Paramedic level or licensed PHRN

Preferred

• Basic Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Haz-Mat Technician. IC 100, 200 and IS 700, 800, ABLS and ASLS
• One year experience (AHN EMS)
