Job summary

Heartland Ambulance in Indiana is hiring Paramedics to provide advanced life support and basic life support, assess patients, transport, and deliver emergency medical care.

You must be an EMT-Paramedic certified in Indiana and meet basic requirements, with preferred ACLS/BCLS; you will operate ambulances and equipment, complete paperwork, and maintain licenses. This is a full-time, in-person role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certified/licensed in Indiana.
• No criminal record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ACLS Certification (preferred not required).
• BCLS Certification (preferred not required).
• Must maintain valid EMT-Paramedic certification in Indiana.
• Must maintain BCLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).
• Current and valid state Driver's License.
• BLS CPR certification.
• RSI competency (preferred not required).

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment.
• Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
• Providing basic and advanced emergency medical treatment and life-saving procedures.
• Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment for proper operation.
• Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations.
• Respond to emergency calls, assess patient condition and make critical care decisions quickly
• Complete any and all paperwork
• Follow proper protocol and maintain professional appearance at all times'
